Taking a moment to say I am so proud of my closest friends.

One is traveling the world and found her long-awaited partner, one just bought their first home in Calgary and is being the best-est mother to 2 beautiful children, one internationally and professionally competes in ice skating, another just bought a car, 2 thriving as travel nurses in Canada, at least 5 are climbing up the corporate ladders and becoming great team leads and managers, one becoming a doctor, and all of them continuing to support and love their families in their own unique ways.

Mind you, these are the same people who have been with me and stuck with me through every black out and poor decision I’ve made.

Some, though I don’t talk to regularly anymore, are still living their best lives.

But everyone I can think of – grew with grace, manners, and good hearts.

As mushy as it sounds, I hope you feel the same pride when you talk about your friends.

Surround yourself with the influences you know bring out the best versions of you and inspire you to be better.
